2007 BMW 335i Sport Coupe

I purchased a 2007 335i from Bavarian about a month ago and couldn't be happier with my decision. The car's handling, suspension and engine feel brand new and the car runs perfectly. While I was shopping, Mike only had about 7 cars at his showroom, but every one of them looked and sounded like they had been maintained perfectly. Mike learns everything he can about the history of each car and truly takes care of them. He even makes sure to park every car indoors each night. Looking at 7 cars I knew I could trust was way better than sifting through a car lot that I know if filled with hundreds I can't.

Mike was also willing to help out in a lot of ways other dealers wouldn't. After I had already purchased the car he helped me find a great set of winter wheels and tires and gave me advice on how to properly maintain the car. In a few years when I'm ready for my next BMW Bavarian will be the only place I look.

2004 BMW 645Ci Sport Convertible

My experience with Bavarian AG has been very good. The initial price of the vehicle was definitely reasonable and was thousands lower than any other similar vehicle available anywhere in the country. The attention to detail was exceptional. The documentation was complete. The warranty was priced fairly and had an exceptional rating with the Better Business Bureau.

There have been several minor issues with the vehicle after the purchase. They have stood behind the vehicle and have taken care of all my concerns. This level of professionalism is not the norm. I will do business with them again.

2011 BMW 335i "Sport"

It has been about a month since I made my purchase from Bavarian AG – I wanted to wait for a few weeks to allow for additional perspective before offering my feedback.  That said, I am every bit as pleased with my purchase today, than I was in early December.  Buying a car from Bavarian AG was unlike any previous car purchase I have ever made – it was like buying a car from family.  Mike and Janet Kaplan are consummate professionals – they have a great depth of knowledge of BMWs; they know the "ins and outs" of car purchasing; and they treat customers like people with whom they want to build a lasting relationship.  I love cars, but I hated the process of buying cars – that thanks to 35 years of buying from dealers who have been ultra-aggressive in getting every penny out of the deal.  Mike and Janet completely changed my experience and outlook on car buying – instead of the usual process that pitted me against the dealer (who only wanted to maximize profit margin), they presented a process where I worked with the dealer (who was driven by establishing a customer for life).   They helped me with one of the aforementioned dealers who was slow in providing a refund for a maintenance contract; they maximized my trade-in allowance by finding a buyer for an almost new Volvo; and they only sold me only what I needed – no extra charges or add-ons that leave you regretful the moment you leave the dealership.  As I said, it's been a month now since I purchased my 335i and the only regret I have is that I didn’t find Mike and Janet earlier!   This has been a great experience and I look forward to my next car purchase…from Bavarian AG!

2008 BMW 335d Sport

I recently purchased my first BMW from Mike and Janet at Bavarian Auto Group. Due to the lack of 335d inventory in the Northeast US, I expanded my search nationwide. I came across a beautiful 335d Sport on the Bavarian AG website and contacted Mike regarding the vehicle. Mike’s expansive knowledge of both the car and BMW brand put me at ease when considering a car that was more than 1400 miles away. Both Janet and Mike were willing to answer my every question and provide any documentation that I asked for. I visited their office and garage in Kansas City and had the pleasure of meeting Janet and Mike, as well as driving the car around the wide open streets of KC. Mike showed me the features the car had and the rigorous quality control process he uses to acquire the car in the first place. Most importantly, he also showed me how the car drove and what it is capable of. After all the discussions I had with Mike and Janet and driving the car myself, we closed on a deal for the car. Although I would have loved to drive the car back to MA, it just couldn’t happen due to my schedule. 2008 BMW 328 XI

If you are looking for the best quality and nicest used BMW's, you have found the right place. There are many places you can go to find a used BMW but you are just going to get a car that is just average. Mike and Janet will have the cars that you cannot find at the BMW dealer because Mike found them first. After looking all over town at just average cars, I sent an email to Mike and he called me back! (yes, a car dealer that responds to emails and it's the owner!) Mike asked what EXACTLY we were looking for. Here is where you lean on the expert to get the best car out there. Mike buys the cars that excite him and after being in the business as long as they have, these are excellent cars! My wife wanted a red 328 XI with tan interior and a black with tan was her second choice. After seeing a black on black XI that is a one of a kind car, we knew this was the car to purchase. Mike listened to what was important to my wife and found a vehicle that surpassed our expectations. Mike searched for red cars but none of them were of the quality that we expressed we were looking to purchase. Also, the black car had very unique options that we never had seen in a 328 that really make the car even more special.

Mike and Janet spent a lot of time with us which is very different from a normal car buying experience. There are no sales games or pressure to buy. 2007 BMW 750i

I recently bought my second BMW from Mike and Janet. What a pleasure both transactions have been. Best car buying experience of my life.  Mike and Janet could not have been nicer to me.  The process all started when I was introduced to Mike through a mutual friend.  I am from Chicago and was just looking for some information on BMWs.  Mike spent hours with me going over the different aspects of the BMWs and what I should be looking for when buying one.  There was never any discussion of me buying a car through Mike and Janet since I lived 500 miles away.  I kept in contact with Mike.  Eventually I made it out to Kansas City for work and was curious to see his inventory.  Each car was more beautiful than the next.  Over the next few weeks Mike and I worked out a deal over the phone and I picked up the car and drove it back to Chicago.  The car was almost 4 years old and it looked like it was right off the showroom floor.  I cannot say enough about Bavarian AG.  They have a customer for life.

2008 BMW X3 3.0 Si Sport Activity

While I believe the Jag was a prisoner at a German specialty dealer, Mike and Janet were terrific to deal with. This is the second BMW I have purchased through Mike and Janet and I will be back when it is time for my next. 2007 BMW X3 3.0Si

My wife has been admiring the BMW X3 for a few years now so when our FJ Cruiser was hit and totaled we decided to research the Bimmer. As anyone who does any research on a BMW will tell you, reliability, comfort, and fun all come standard from the factory. The only request my wife had was that it be late model, black, and super clean with decent miles.

We started at Baron, believing that they were the only real game in town, but quickly found that their prices were more than we wanted to pay. Next we went to Carmax where we found two black X3's. One looked great from a distance but upon closer inspection had too many little rock chips and scratches to satisfy my wife's taste. The other was pretty clean with the sport package so we decided to drive it. The ride was nice of course (Its a BMW) but when I started asking questions the whole process turned sour. All he could talk about was the Carmax selling process and how good they were. He knew nothing about the $30,000 vehicle he was attempting to sell me. At one point I asked what he knew specifically about the X3 and his reply to me was "I think it's part of the M series, they are some really good trucks" I just looked at my wife in disbelief and got the hell out of there. Next was Jeremy Franklin. They had a nice picture on the net so we called them up. They assured us that it was one of the cleanest cars around. Excited, we drove to 87th street that evening to see it. It was nice except for the huge dent in the driver's door. When I asked them about it they pretended they didn't know. Seriously?

Finally, after plenty of time on cars.com and autotrader.com it came down to a few personal owners and Bavarian AG. We decided to drive by and look at Mike's inventory but were disappointed to find no BMW's outside his building. Discouraged we decided to call him and he informed us that they were stored inside and that we should come by and take a look. When we walked into his garage for the first time we were absolutely blown away by how immaculate his collection BMW's was. Not a scratch in the place. One word of caution, don't ask Mike what he knows about a particular BMW unless you have the afternoon off and packed lunch. This guy is a guru on the subject. He reminds me of an art professor who is passionate about Rodin and talks about him endlessly with stars in his eyes. I was whisked away into his world and by that time we left that afternoon we had shaken hands on a deal. The next day we wrapped things up with the other half of Bavarian, Mike's lovely wife Janet. She helped us with all the paperwork and packaged everything we needed for the DMV in one neat little envelope. The whole process was quick and painless. That means a lot to me because I normally hate the car buying process. In fact, the only part I didn't enjoy was watching Mikes sad eyes as we drove one of his beautiful babies off the lot.

It has been over a week now and while I admit that my wife wanted this vehicle more than I did, I confess that I am glad she talked me into buying it. The sapphire black is a real head turner and the steptonic transmission is sick. It seems like we discover a new piece of technology on our BMW every day. We are 100% happy with our purchase and hope to buy our next car from Mike and Janet. I am in love with that black 750 that sat next to my X3.

2008 BMW 535xi "Sport"

I started my vehicle search several months ago by checking cars.com and autotrader.com and found Bavarian Auto Group this way. I reached out via a phone call and arranged to meet Mike and Janet during our search for a home in the Kansas City area. Get all of the information, look closely at Mike and Janet's pictures. They're high definition pictures showing the spots on the car that tell you what kind of condition it's really in. We have bought many cars over our 41 years of married life, both in this country and overseas. It was always a hassle until we found the Bavarian Auto Group. You and Janet have made buying an automobile a very enjoyable experience, not to mention that we have become friends as well. I know that this is a common experience with all of your customers. We bought the following 3 cars from you this year: 2006 BMW 750i (Sports Addition), 2004 BMW 745i (Sports Addition) and a 2004 Infinity G35 (Sporty Addition). 2006 BMW 550i

We recently purchased our 2006 BMW 550i from Mike and Janet at Bavarian Auto Group. I actually did not buy my car through Bavarian, but it was really just a timing difference. I had looked at a 645ci coupe but decided I would rather have a convertible. Bavarian did not have a convertible at the time. I kept in contact with Mike and just a few weeks after I ended up purchasing my car elsewhere, Mike Kaplan sent me a picture of a 645ci convertible that he had just received. Even though I didn’t buy my car through Bavarian, I have continued to benefit from my relationship with them. Bavarian has provided me with an extended care warranty (that actually works as promised, with no hassles); winter wheels that look terrific; winter tires that actually allow me to drive my car during the bad weather; a replacement wheel when NTW cracked one of the original wheels; questions I have regarding detailing of my car, and assistance with a service issue at Barron BMW.
